Jeff Halstead is a lecturer at The University of Michigan, Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning. Professionally, Jeff has practiced as a designer with Gehry Partners LLP in Los Angeles, CA and as a project designer with private clients in Toronto, ON, Canada. Jeff received his M.Arch from the Southern California Institute of Architecture where he graduated with distinction, received the Alpha Rho Chi Medal and was awarded the annual SCI-Arc Gehry prize for best thesis. He had previously worked for Hernan Diaz Alonso at his practice Xefirotarch and was a Graduate Studio and Seminar Teaching Assistant at SCI-Arc. Jeff’s work has been internationally published in print and online in Architect Magazine, B-1 Magazine, ANC – Architecture and Culture and Designboom.
